The latest comedy-drama from writer, director, and star Jesse Eisenberg is a fantastic look into family issues and the importance of letting go of emotional grief and looking ahead to the future. As a director, Jesse Eisenberg creates an emotional story about two cousins who reunite for a trip to Poland while also battling some inner demons with each other that they must come to terms with. In addition to being a fantastic writer and director, Jesse Eisenberg delivers an excellent performance as the film's main character. Kieran Culkin delivers a tremendous performance as Eisenberg's cousin who, before the film's events, has gone through many problems and is afraid to confess to his cousin. Culkin's performance ranges from comedic to dramatic, and we believe every second of the pain that he is carrying and his chemistry with Jesse Eisenberg are fantastic. Thanks to Jesse Eisenberg's superb direction and excellent performances from Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, "A Real Pain" is an incredible about coming to terms with your past mistakes to look ahead for a brighter future and always remember that no matter how bad things get you will always have the love and support of your family through good times and bad times.
