Crime 101: Chris Hemsworth leads a fantastic ensemble cast in the newest crime thriller

Based on the novel by Don Winslow, the newest crime thriller from director Bart Layton is a suspenseful drama featuring an incredible cast, all tangled up in a crime that connects them, even if they don’t realize it. Director Bart Layton does an excellent job balancing the characters so they all have a reason to matter to the story, while also giving you a tale full of twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Chris Hemsworth delivers an excellent performance as a professional thief caught in the middle of a crime spree involving him and a rival criminal both targeting the same goals. The rest of the cast deliver great performances in the film as well, which includes Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Nick Nolte, and Halle Berry. Thanks to Bart Layton’s incredible direction, suspenseful action, and excellent performances from the ensemble cast led by Chris Hemsworth, “Crime 101” is a fantastic crime thriller that can be set up as a combination of the movie “Heat” and the video game series “Grand Theft Auto”.
