Love Hurts: A bland romantic comedy that could of been a ton of fun

The newest action comedy from director Jonathan Eusebio could have been a lot of fun, but it is a forgettable comedy without comedy. What could have been a fun romantic action film comes off as a dull, unfunny, and poorly choreographed movie that will have you counting the minutes of when it will be over or will make your mind think about other stuff and not the movie. Ke Huy Quan, Ariana DeBose, and Marshawn Lynch try their best to deliver good performances, but the screenplay is poorly written and doesn’t give them good material to work with. “Love Hurts” had the potential to be a fun movie, but due to its poor direction and bland characters, “Love Hurts” is not a good date movie couples should go see this Valentine’s Day and if there is one good thing to come out of this movie is that the title lives up to its name.
