Minions & Monsters: A fun animation that the whole family will enjoy

The seventh film in the “Despicable Me” franchise, as well as the third film in the “Minions” series, is also the best film since the first “Despicable Me” film. Despite sharing the same childlike slapstick humor we know from the Minions, “Minions & Monsters” sets the Minions in the Old Hollywood era and uses themes of creativity and friendship to tell a great story about never giving up on your dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Having played the Minions since 2010 and serving as the director of this movie, Pierre Coffin delivers a great performance as the Minions' voice, even though all of their dialogue is gibberish. The film also features great performances from the supporting cast, including Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Zoey Deutch, Phil LaMarr, and Bobby Moynihan. Thanks to Pierre 'sCoffin's hilarious performance, “Minions & Monsters” manages to be a fun movie for the whole family and a perfect animated film that kids will enjoy.
