Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning: Tom Cruise is fantastic in the final installment of the Mission Impossible franchise

The eighth and final installment of the “Mission Impossible” franchise has many action-packed moments and emotional depth that deliver the series to a satisfying conclusion. Picking up right where “Dead Reckoning” left off, director Christopher McQuarrie does a fantastic job giving longtime fans of the series a final chapter that manages to tie all eight films together and honor the series with great respect thanks to the incredible storytelling. Tom Cruise delivers a fantastic performance in his final appearance as IMF agent Ethan Hunt. The fact that he did all of the stunts we’re seeing makes the movie feel so realistic and heightens the tension he has delivered to us for the past twenty-nine years. The supporting cast features a ton of returning favorites as well as new characters, all offering excellent performances, which includes Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell, Henry Czerny, Angela Bassett, Nick Offerman, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Rolf Saxon. Thanks to Christopher McQuarrie’s fantastic direction and Tom Cruise’s incredible performance, “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” is an excellent sendoff to not just an amazing action franchise but to an iconic character in Ethan Hunt, who was made famous by Tom Cruise back in 1996.
One of the most loving franchise has coming to an end now but what I personally think as a person who watch cinema a lot I don't think it's gonna end here. What I think is they're gonna revoke the franchise at some point again as it usually happens with all the successful franchises. But even if we assume it's the end then I'm gonna watch it with the whole of me, once I get my head out of finding emergency nursing dissertation topics, I'll enjoy the one last piece.
