Based on the timeless story of "Peter Pan," the newest live-action Disney remake from director David Lowery is a lighthearted adventure, even if it's reusing most of the original elements. Surprisingly, this remake has a few changes, such as flushing out a bit of Captain Hook's backstory and having Wendy be more of a focus than Peter Pan. While these changes feel forced, they help make the story engaging. Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson deliver fantastic performances and have great chemistry as Peter Pan and Wendy Darling. Jude Law is entertaining as the main antagonist Captain Hook. The supporting cast is also great: Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, Yara Shahidi, and Jim Gaffigan. "Peter Pan & Wendy" is a fun movie that families will enjoy, thanks to David Lowery's direction and the great performances by Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, and Jude Law.
