Project Hail Mary: Ryan Gosling is fantastic in the latest science fiction masterpiece

 Based on the novel of the same name by Andy Weir, the newest Sci-Fi film from directing duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller is a fantastic science fiction film where the mission isn’t about saving the world, and instead, two different people from different planets learning more about themselves than they realize. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller tell the story in a non-linear structure to show how the main protagonist is sent into space on a mission he believes he isn’t well-prepared for, but that he believes is humanity’s last hope. The result is fantastic, and that is thanks to Lord and Miller’s storytelling and the incredible visual effects that make you feel like you are in outer space. Ryan Gosling delivers an incredible performance as the only passenger on board the space mission, who later encounters an alien that helps him gain the confidence he needs to complete the mission, showcasing strong character development. Thanks to Lord and Miller’s fantastic direction, excellent visual effects, and an incredible performance from Ryan Gosling, “Project Hail Mary” is one of the best science fiction films of the past few years and an early contender for the best film of the year.
