Speak No Evil: The most nail-biting and creepy film of the year

A remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name, the newest psychological thriller from director James Watkins is a creepy film that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The setup of this film feels similar to the 2021 film "Malignant" because the film half of this movie, while engaging, contains some pacing issues, but the second half is intense, fast-paced, and an absolute thrill ride until the credits roll. James McAvoy delivers a chilling and excellent performance as the matriarch of a family who invites a random couple to his house for the weekend. He comes off as a nice person at first, but as the film goes on, he shows his true colors, and that is thanks to McAvoy's charismatic performance. Mackenzie Davis and Scoot McNairy deliver great performances as the couple James McAvoy invites to spend the weekend at his house. "Speak No Evil" is one of the most nail-biting and creepy movies of 2024, thanks to James Watkins's excellent direction and the incredible performances from James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, and Scoot McNairy.
