Spider-Man: Brand New Day: Tom Holland is fantastic in the fourth installment of the Spider-Man series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Serving as the fourth film in the Tom Holland Spider-Man series and the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man's latest adventure shows us what he has been up to since “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and the result is an excellent film that is filled with a lot of emotion and heartbreak for the famed web-slinger. Taking over for Jon Watts, who directed the last three Spider-Man movies, Destin Daniel Cretton takes over the saga, and the story that he created is fantastic, showing the consequences that Peter Parker has to face due to the events that occurred in “No Way Home” and how he has to accept it five years later. Tom Holland once again delivers a fantastic performance as Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man. Forced to be alone for most of the film without his friends in his corner, we are given a Spider-Man who is lonely and trying to find people who can make him feel accepted, and Holland once again does a fantastic job. The film also contains great performances from the supporting cast, which includes Zendaya as Michelle Jones-Watson, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal reprising his role of Frank Castle AKA Punisher from the “Daredevil” tv show and his spin-off series “The Punisher”, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Mark Ruffalo as Dr. Bruce Banner AKA The Hulk. Thanks to Destin Daniel Cretton’s excellent direction and an incredible performance from Tom Holland, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is a fantastic film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and continues to show why Tom Holland is the best version of Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man we have seen on the big screen.
