The Brutalist: Adrien Brody delivers the performance of his career in the latest cinematic masterpiece

After winning the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama, the newest epic drama from director Brady Corbet is a cinematic masterpiece about the American dream in a post-WWII world. After directing the 2018 film "Vox Lux," which I wasn't a big fan of, Brady Corbet's latest film clocks in at three and half hours long with an intermission, delivering a fantastic experience that earns its runtime. In a story about love, loss, and the idea of success, Brady Corbet takes you on a journey about how one holocaust survivor can achieve a dream of making it in America and will make you appreciate how one man would never give up on his dreams in good times and bad times. Adrien Brody delivers the performance of his career as a Hungarian-Jewish architect who survives the Holocaust and begins a new life in America. Brody is inspiring and heartbreaking in a performance carried all on his shoulders, delivering a performance that will surely win him his second Oscar after winning his first one for 2002's "The Pianist." The film also contains a great supporting cast, all turning in great performances as well, which includes Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, Isaach de Bankolé, and Alessandro Nivola. Thanks to Brady Corbet's terrific direction and Adrien Brody's incredible performance, "The Brutalist" is a cinematic masterpiece that not only earns the three and half hour runtime but also emerges as a top contender to win the Best Picture Award at this year's Oscars.
