Together: Dave Franco and Alison Brie are fantastic in the newest horror movie from newcomer Michael Shanks

The newest supernatural horror film from first-time director Michael Shanks is one of the most eerie and visually disturbing horror movies I have seen in years. Michael Shanks’s direction features an original story filled with creepy imagery, a suspenseful atmosphere, and numerous twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat. Dave Franco and Alison Brie both deliver excellent performances as a couple going through a crazy transformation that involves drastic changes to their bodies. Franco and Brie’s chemistry in this movie is fantastic, which should not be a surprise considering that they are a married couple in real life, making their performances appear realistic. Thanks to Michael Shanks’s fantastic direction and incredible performances from Dave Franco and Alison Brie, “Together” is one of this decade's most original and suspenseful horror movies and an excellent directorial debut for Michael Shanks.
