Based on the popular video game series, the latest swashbuckling adventure from director Ruben Fleischer is a dumb but fun action film that fans of the "Uncharted" game will enjoy while also enjoyable for people who have never played the games. The film is a predictable adventure film that we have seen a dozen times before, but the two main elements that will keep the audience engaged are the incredible action sequences and the great cast of characters. Tom Holland gives an excellent performance as the iconic character Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg gives a pretty good performance as Victor "Sully" Sullivan. Holland and Wahlberg have great chemistry together, and there were times throughout the movie they both display hilarious comedic timing, making them a hilarious duo to watch. Antonio Banderas was enjoyable to watch as the main villain, and Sophia Ali was excellent as Nathan Drake's love interest Chloe Frazer. Thanks to the incredible action scenes and great lead performances by Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, "Uncharted" is a film that longtime fans of the video game series will have a blast from start to finish. The film is also an excellent introduction for people who have never played the games before, and if fans want to start playing the games, this is the perfect way to introduce you to the world of "Uncharted."
