The sequel to the 2016 Oscar-winning animated film is an excellent animated film and a superior follow-up to the original. Just like the previous film, this one tackles social and racial issues while expanding Zootopia's lore through excellent world-building and incredible animation. The film also has a ton of hilarious and emotional moments that children and adults can enjoy together or individually. Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin reprise their roles as Rick Wilde and Judy Hopps, delivering fantastic performances and excellent chemistry in the voice acting department. Ke Huy Quan and Fortune Feimster join the cast as brand-new characters and deliver outstanding performances. The film features a great ensemble supporting cast of returning and new actors, including Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Shakira, Idris Elba, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson, Danny Trejo, Brenda Song, and Macaulay Culkin. Thanks to its incredible animation, touching themes of social and racial dynamics among the animals, and excellent performances from Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin, "Zootopia 2" is a hilarious and heartfelt sequel that, like its predecessor, is fun for the whole family.
